Infosys Founder Suggests Overhauling IAS Recruitment Process

A Proposal to Replace UPSC Exams with Management Talent
Narayana Murthy has proposed a radical shift in the way candidates are selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). Instead of relying on the traditional and highly competitive Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination, Murthy suggested that the government should recruit from top management schools.
