Sales Milestone Achieved
Tata Motors has proudly announced that its Tiago EV has surpassed the significant sales milestone of 50,000 units in India. Launched in September 2022, the Tiago EV was recognized as the most affordable electric vehicle on the market at the time of its introduction.
Battery Options and Range
The Tiago EV is offered with two battery options: a 19.2 kWh pack and a larger 24 kWh variant. The smaller battery provides a claimed range of up to 221 km on a single charge, while the larger pack boasts a range of approximately 275 km, as per MIDC standards.
Motor Performance
Depending on the battery pack selected, the electric motor output varies. The 19.2 kWh battery is coupled with a 45 kW motor that delivers 105 Nm of peak torque. In contrast, the 24 kWh version is paired with a more powerful 55 kW motor generating 114 Nm. The vehicle features two driving modes: city and sport.
Color Variants and Trim Levels
Customers can choose from five vibrant color options, including signature teal blue, daytona grey, tropical mist, pristine white, and midnight plum. The Tiago EV is available in both Medium and Long-range configurations across four trim levels: XE, XT, XZ+, and the premium XZ+ Tech LUX.
Pricing Overview
The pricing for the Tiago EV ranges from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it an attractive option for consumers looking to enter the electric vehicle market.
