New Threat Demands Rs 2 Crore
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has received a new death threat from an anonymous caller demanding a payment of Rs 2 crore. The Mumbai police confirmed the development on Wednesday, stating that a threat message was relayed to the Mumbai Traffic Police, warning that Khan would be killed if the demand was not met.

Investigation Underway
In response to the threat, authorities in Mumbai’s Worli district have registered a case against the unknown individual and initiated an investigation. This alarming incident follows a similar threat made on October 25, where a caller from Noida also threatened both Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique, an MLA and son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was tragically shot dead on October 12..

Recent Arrest in Noida
The police have already apprehended a 20-year-old suspect from Noida, believed to be behind the earlier threats against Salman Khan and Siddique. Following the initial threat, the suspect reportedly contacted Siddique’s helpline before making a follow-up voice call reiterating his intent to harm both individuals. Utilizing technical evidence, law enforcement was able to track him down and he has since been brought to Mumbai for further questioning.

Heightened Security Measures
Khan’s security has been intensified in light of these threats, especially following the assassination of Baba Siddique, who was a close friend of the actor. The gang led by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has claimed responsibility for Siddique’s murder and has allegedly been threatening Khan for some time. This ongoing enmity stems from the infamous 1998 blackbuck poaching case, which has created significant tension between Khan and the Bishnoi community.

Ongoing Investigations
In connection with the Baba Siddique murder case, Mumbai Police have made 15 arrests so far. On October 26, nine of the accused were presented in court following the conclusion of their police custody. The investigation continues as authorities work to ensure the safety of both Salman Khan and Zeeshan Siddique
