A heated exchange has erupted online after comedian Kunal Kamra criticized Ola Electric’s S1 series scooters in a social media post.

He altercation began when Kamra shared an image of an Ola service center, highlighting some concerns regarding the company’s electric vehicles. In his post, he questioned, “Do Indian consumers have a voice? Do they deserve this? For many daily wage workers, two-wheelers are essential,” while retweeting a previous post featuring a photo of Ola’s impressive Gigafactory.

Kamra also directed his query to Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari, asking, “Is this how Indians will transition to EVs?” He further reached out to the Department of Consumer Affairs, seeking their input on the matter.

In response, Bhavish Aggarwal took to social media, suggesting that Kamra was launching an attack on his company due to a “paid tweet.” He stated, “Since you’re so concerned, @kunalkamra88, why not come and help us? I’ll pay you more than you made from this paid tweet or your unsuccessful comedy career. Otherwise, please let us concentrate on resolving the issues for our actual customers. We’re rapidly expanding our service network and will clear the backlogs soon,” Aggarwal tweeted.

Netizens joined the discussion, sharing their own negative experiences with Ola Electric vehicles in the comments.
