Revolt Motors has officially introduced the RV1, its latest electric motorcycle, to the Indian market. Available in two variants—RV1 and RV1+—the prices start at an introductory rate of Rs 84,990, with the RV1+ priced at Rs 99,990, making it the most budget-friendly option from the brand.
The RV1 comes equipped with two battery pack choices: a 2.2 kWh option, which offers a range of 100 km, and a more powerful 3.24 kWh pack, capable of reaching 160 km on a single charge. Both variants are powered by a 2.8 kW electric motor that drives the rear wheel through a chain.
Designed primarily for urban commuting, the RV1 boasts a functional street bike aesthetic, featuring a circular LED headlamp complemented by a sleek windscreen. Practicality is a key focus, with built-in storage for the charger conveniently located under the seat.
The motorcycle has a payload capacity of 250 kg and is noted for its spacious seating, which is claimed to be the longest in its class. With a ground clearance of 180 mm and a wheelbase of 1350 mm, the RV1 has a seat height of 790 mm and rides on 17-inch tires at both front and rear.
For added convenience, the RV1 is fitted with a 6.0-inch digital LCD for instrumentation. The bike features a telescopic fork in the front and twin shock absorbers in the rear, while stopping power is provided by disc brakes on both ends.
With its combination of affordability, utility, and design, the Revolt RV1 aims to make electric commuting accessible to a wider audience.
