Luxury MPV Launched with High Demand and Competitive Pricing
Lexus has officially launched the LM 350h luxury MPV in India, marking its entry into the premium vehicle segment. Introduced in March 2024, the LM 350h quickly garnered attention, with bookings beginning in August 2023. However, the company has now temporarily suspended new bookings due to ongoing supply chain challenges and the need to fulfill existing orders.
Pricing and Availability
The LM 350h is available at a starting price of Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom) for the seven-seater variant, while the four-seater version is priced at Rs 2.5 crore. Despite the recent booking halt, the initial response from customers has been promising, with over 100 bookings recorded within the first month.
Striking Design and Luxurious Features
The LM 350h stands out with its bold design, characterized by its large front grille, sleek headlamps, and elegant alloy wheels. Inside, the MPV offers a choice between two luxurious upholstery options: Black and Solis White.
On the tech front, it boasts a 14-inch touchscreen system compatible with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a stunning 48-inch display for rear passengers. Additional luxury features include a 23-speaker audio system, fold-out tables, heated armrests, reading lights, vanity mirrors, an umbrella holder, and a refrigerator for ultimate convenience.
Powerful Performance
Under the hood, the LM 350h is equipped with a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol hybrid engine that generates 190 bhp and 240 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT gearbox. This combination ensures a smooth and powerful driving experience. In the competitive landscape, the LM 350h’s primary rival is the Toyota Vellfire, a sibling model that shares many similarities.
As Lexus navigates through supply chain challenges, enthusiasts and potential buyers remain eager for updates on when new bookings will resume. The LM 350h’s combination of luxury, performance, and advanced features positions it as a compelling choice in the premium MPV market in India.
