Suriya and Bobby Deol’s Epic Film Now Set for November 14
Hyderabad: Fans of Suriya and Bobby Deol can rejoice! The eagerly awaited film Kanguva has officially announced a new release date, moving away from a potential box-office showdown with Rajinikanth’s upcoming movie, Vettaiyan. The change was revealed by Studio Green, the production house behind Kanguva, in an exciting video shared across social media platforms on September 19.
Originally slated for October 10, the film’s release has been postponed to November 14, 2024. Suriya’s decision to delay the release underscores his admiration for Rajinikanth, a revered figure in Tamil cinema.
The announcement was made in a vibrant video featuring both Suriya and Bobby Deol, who proclaimed, “The Battle of Pride and Glory, for the World to Witness ⚔️🔥 #Kanguva’s mighty reign storms screens from 14-11-24 🤎 #KanguvaFromNov14 🦅.”
In August, fans were treated to an intriguing trailer that hints at the film’s rich narrative, beginning with an elder revealing secrets of their island. The visuals portray Suriya and Bobby as leaders poised for an epic confrontation. A tantalizing moment at the end suggests a possible cameo by Karthi, adding to the excitement.
Additionally, the lyrical video for the film’s first track, Fire, was released in conjunction with Suriya’s 49th birthday. Described as a “lion’s roar and firestorm,” the song features powerful beats and striking visuals, capturing the film’s wild essence. The music, composed by Devi Sri Prasad, includes vocals from B Praak and Pavithra Chari.
Kanguva is anticipated to be one of the year’s standout films, set 1,500 years in the past and promising an epic showdown between Suriya and Bobby Deol. The impressive cast also includes Disha Patani, Natarajan Subramaniam, Jagapathi Babu, Yogi Babu, Redin Kingsley, Kovai Sarala, and Ananda.
