Hyderabad: Renowned actor K Chiranjeevi, affectionately known as Megastar, received the prestigious Guinness World Records certificate on Sunday, recognizing him as the most prolific film star in the Indian film industry. This honor highlights his extraordinary career spanning 45 years, during which he has performed an astounding 24,000 dance moves across 537 songs in 156 films.
Chiranjeevi’s Journey: A Legacy of Dance and Film
At a special event held in Hyderabad, a Guinness World Records representative presented the certificate to Chiranjeevi, marking a significant milestone on September 20, 2024. “I never anticipated receiving a Guinness World Record,” Chiranjeevi expressed during the ceremony. “Dance has become an integral part of my life throughout my career.”
The date of the recognition is particularly meaningful as it coincides with the anniversary of his film debut on September 22, 1978.
