Hyderabad: In a spectacular event held at Famous Studios in Mumbai on October 16, Nikita Porwal, a young woman from Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, was crowned Femina Miss India World 2024. With this title, Nikita will represent India at the esteemed Miss World pageant.
Early Education and Advocacy
Nikita completed her schooling at Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School before pursuing higher studies at Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. A passionate animal lover, she advocates for animal protection and believes that humanity’s progress should benefit all living beings. Nikita emphasizes the importance of cherishing and safeguarding the environment.
A Multifaceted Talent
An accomplished performer, Nikita has a rich background in storytelling, having participated in over 60 theatrical plays. In addition to her acting prowess, she enjoys writing, painting, and reading. She even wrote a 250-page play titled Krishna Leela, showcasing her dedication to the arts.
Journey to Stardom
Nikita’s journey in the entertainment industry began at the age of 18 as a television host. Her passion for the performing arts soon led her to acting, with her latest film, Chambal Paar, recently premiering at the International Film Festival. The film has garnered recognition at various international film festivals and is set for release in India.

Living by the motto, “Be a life that matters, a loss that is felt,” Nikita draws inspiration from former Miss World and actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, whom she admires for her elegance and intellect. During her Q&A session at the pageant, she stressed the importance of balancing beauty with brains, stating, “I aim to celebrate my Indian heritage while embracing modernity.”

When asked about the most influential person in her life, Nikita confidently replied, “I am the most influential person in my life. Recognizing my own power motivates me to strive for excellence every day.” Beyond her aspirations in pageantry, she dreams of collaborating with renowned filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
